Chief Executive Officer
Justin Shanken is the CEO and founder of Black Breach, an award-winning cybersecurity firm committed to advancing security measures for its clients in alignment with America's national defense strategies. With over two decades of experience in counterintelligence and cybersecurity, Justin has established himself as a leader in the field.
Justin's career began as a Counterintelligence Special Agent in the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense, where he protected America's cleared defense contractors from foreign threats. His expertise, honed in high-stakes environments, ensures that his team's efforts significantly contribute to a safer digital world. By building trust, leveraging specialized expertise, and providing cost-effective, military-grade, AI-tooled cybersecurity solutions, Black Breach has quickly become a standout in the industry.
Justin has been featured in numerous publications and has spoken at hundreds of events. In recognition of his achievements, he received several awards including the University of Georgia’s prestigious “Alumni 40 under 40” in 2015.
Daniel Greer
Chief Financial Officer
Daniel Greer serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Black Breach. Since joining the team, he has further established the company's long-term financial management strategy, contributing to the company's rapid growth and global development strategy.
Daniel has 19 years of experience in business, spanning multiple industries, including technology, consulting, manufacturing, and engineering. Prior to joining Black Breach, he served as the Global Director of Compensation for a multinational technology company. In this role, he collaborated with company executives, human resources, finance, and business operations on financial modeling, budgeting, compliance, and long-term strategy.
Daniel is an avid learner and, outside of work, has taught himself statistics, how to build servers, and woodworking.
Logan Evans
Chief Technology Officer
Logan Evans is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Black Breach, where he spearheads the company's advancements in cybersecurity innovation and development. With an extensive background as a white-hat hacker and red team specialist, Logan brings a wealth of expertise to his role, having implemented comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks for organizations across various industries and sizes.
Logan holds elite certifications, including OSCP and CISSP, and has worked with leading cybersecurity consultancies such as Coalfire and Bishop Fox. As a certified cloud security engineer for AWS and GCP, he is well-versed in cloud security. His SANS Python (GPYC) certification further enables him to develop custom, resilient security solutions tailored to Black Breach’s needs.
An active contributor to open-source red team security projects on GitHub, Logan’s current research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance threat detection and response capabilities in cybersecurity.
